About the 23

The Beechcraft 23 is an American type-certificated fixed-wing aircraft configured with a single engine and a four-seat layout, built to suit utility and transport missions.

Originating from evaluations by military forces, the project expanded through numerous variants serving armed forces for decades. Early examples were later returned to the factory for complete remanufacturing to upgrade them to newer standards. Subsequent engineering efforts yielded a larger cabin variant which served as the basis for a successful commercial civilian line and specialized military roles.
