About the Giles G-200

The Akro Tech Aviation Giles G-200 is an American single-seat, single-engine fixed-wing aircraft built for homebuilt amateur construction and aerobatic flying. Constructed entirely from composite materials, it features a cantilever low-wing layout with a bubble canopy over the enclosed cabin, tractor engine configuration, and fixed conventional landing gear equipped with wheel pants.

First flown in the spring of 1996, the design originated from AkroTech Aviation based in Oregon before the company ultimately ceased operations. The aircraft was distributed either as a ready-to-fly machine or a kit intended for builders. By late 2013, a small number of examples remained registered with aviation authorities in the United States and Canada.
