About the Acro-1

The Aircraft Technologies Acro 1 is an American single-seat fixed-wing homebuilt aircraft configured with a cantilever low-wing and a conventional landing gear arrangement. Designed primarily for high-speed cross-country flying and demanding aerobatics, it suits amateur builders and pilots looking for an agile, stress-resistant machine powered by a single tractor engine.

Conceived and designed in the United States, the aircraft is constructed from advanced graphite and fiberglass composites and features an enclosed bubble canopy. It was originally supplied to builders in kit or plans form, with an estimated construction time provided for completion. Only a very small number of examples were ultimately registered and flown before production of the kits and plans ceased entirely.
