Elected representatives are urging the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to reconsider a scheduled teardown of hangars situated at Aeroflex Airport in Andover, New Jersey. The facility is under the ownership of the DEP and serves operations for the state Forest Fire Service.

Orders to vacate have already reached the local pilots and small businesses utilizing the spaces. These eviction notices mandate that occupants must clear the hangars prior to December 31.

In response to the displacement threat, several politicians have intervened. U.S. Representative Josh Gottheimer, along with state Senator Parker Space, Assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia, and Assemblyman Michael Inganamort, have formally requested that DEP officials halt the process.

In separate aviation developments, the Flying Bulls Aerobatic Team has undergone a rebranding. PragueDaily reported that the group will perform as the Red Bull Aerobatic Team at international events, air shows, and sporting competitions.

Operating with a history spanning more than 65 years, the organization ranks among the longest-established civilian-aerobatic formations in the world. The current roster features four Czech pilots, namely Stanislav Cejka, Jan Tvrdík, Jan Rudzinskyj, and Martin Špacek.

Looking ahead to 2027, the newly renamed squad plans to make appearances across multiple countries. Their scheduled itinerary includes performances in Czechia, Germany, Belgium, Serbia, Poland, and Lithuania.

Meanwhile, digital tool updates have also emerged in the industry. Hangar Flying implemented improvements to its browser-based Panel Designer, introducing scale-accurate component drawings, customizable finishes, and additional layout choices.
