2023 Cessna 182T Skylane Selected as AircraftForSale Top Pick
FLYING magazine has highlighted a 2023 Cessna 182T Skylane as its daily Aircraft For Sale top pick, noting its low flight time and advanced avionics suite.
According to FLYING, this single-owner airframe is located in the Midwest and shows 220 hours of total flight time since new. The publication reported that the aircraft was involved in an airframe-only bird strike in 2025. It comes with a fresh September 2026 annual inspection and an IFR inspection, and is listed for $744,500.
The exterior features an overall white paint scheme complemented by blue and silver accents along with LED lighting. Inside, the four-seat cabin is fitted with tan interiors featuring suede inserts, Kelly Aerospace air conditioning, factory four-place oxygen, AmSafe airbag seat belts, and power outlets supplying 12-volt and USB connectivity.
Power is supplied by a Lycoming TIO-540-AK1A engine producing 235 horsepower and equipped with turbocharging for high-altitude operations. The powerplant turns a three-blade, electrically heated McCauley metal propeller. Temperature management during climbs is assisted by cowl flaps and a heated pitot tube.
Flight deck duties are handled by a Garmin G1000 NXi avionics package featuring dual displays with Synthetic Vision Technology. Additional flight systems include a GI-275 electronic standby instrument, Garmin Active Traffic, Flight Stream 510 wireless connectivity, and a GFC 700 digital autopilot that incorporates a go-around switch.
