Detailed Description

My Bonanza is a beautiful plane. Hangared in dry Colorado since the early 2000s, this Colemill Starfire conversion with an IO-550B engine, large cargo door, and four comfortable seats is an excellent cross-country cruiser. With the SureFly ignition, the smooth-running engine trues out at 165-170 knots at 10,500' to 12,500' (it's undoubtedly a bit faster down low, but my airport, KDRO, is at 6,700'). The avionics work well; I recently replaced the HSI with a refurbished unit, and the STEC-55X autopilot is solid and dependable. During my three years of ownership, I have focused on ensuring that the airplane is in perfect condition after a decade of light use by the previous owner. For a prepurchase inspection, there is a nearby shop that has not performed any engine or airframe work on this airplane, or we can discuss other arrangements. I'm a former airline pilot; this is my third plane and I'm committed to a transparent, "no surprises" transaction using a reputable aircraft escrow firm.

Times will increase, but I will keep them updated here.

All logs since new - No major damage history - Many extras (Bruce's Custom Covers fuselage cover, Redline "stiffy" ratcheting tow bar, Mountain High oxygen system, CrewDog Electronics ADS-B receiver).

Remarks

I have maintained this aircraft with an open wallet and am very happy with its condition. I've flown it 143 trouble-free hours since purchasing it three years ago.

All logs since new as well as extensive maintenance documentation.

No major damage history.
