Remarks

Price reduced!!!

It was found at the recent annual that the BRS Parachute is past it's 20 year service life and needs to be replaced or removed for the Cessna to be airworthy. The aircraft will be sold with an annual inspection with the discrepancy regarding the chute. A ferry permit will be fairly easy to obtain from the FAA to relocate the aircraft to your mechanic to have that work completed.

A great opportunity to buy a 182 and upgrade it your way. During its recent annual inspection, it was determined that the installed BRS airframe parachute has reached the point where it must be either replaced or removed to meet airworthiness requirements. This presents an excellent opportunity to purchase a well-equipped Cessna 182 at a price that reflects this single known item, allowing the next owner to decide whether to install a new BRS system or remove it entirely.

The aircraft is otherwise airworthy following the annual inspection and is IFR equipped, with only 811 hours since major overhaul on the Continental O-470-R engine and propeller, featuring durable CermiChrome cylinders. The exterior retains its original paint, which is showing its age along with surface corrosion, making it an ideal candidate for a buyer who would rather choose their own paint scheme than pay a premium for someone else's restoration.

Equipped with desirable long-range fuel tanks, Peterson Auto Fuel STC, flap gap seals, LakeVue Aeronautics folding rear seats (original rear seat included), uAvionix ADS-B Out, an Electronics International engine monitor, and a modern flat black aluminum instrument panel. Avionics consist of dependable legacy King radios, making this a mechanically sound Skylane with outstanding potential and numerous desirable upgrades already in place.
