About the Yak-18T

The Yakovlev Aircraft Factories YAK-18T is a single-engine, fixed-wing utility aircraft featuring a nosewheel undercarriage and a cabin capable of carrying four or five occupants. Built to undergo full aerobatic stresses, this machine was originally introduced to train airline pilots and has since achieved popularity as a sportplane.

Unrelated to earlier models despite its nomenclature, the prototype performed its first flight in the mid-nineteen sixties. It shares its powerful radial engine and compressed-air system with other well-known Soviet aircraft families. Following initial production for flight schools and liaison duties, manufacturing was later resumed in small quantities, and derivative versions with modified windshields and fuel capacities have also been marketed.

On the label and not the count: the bands count every aircraft on the market (on_market) while the grid shows only those with a photo (live), so the count is not a promise of how many cards appear. A band cached before year_min existed renders as plain text rather than a link to an unfiltered list. #}
