About the TL-3000 Sirius

The Tl Ultralight TL 3000 SIRIUS is a Czech-designed, single-engine high-wing ultralight and light-sport aircraft with a side-by-side two-seat cabin. Constructed largely from carbon and glass composites, it features a fixed tricycle undercarriage and is built to serve recreational and touring roles.

Announced in early 2007, the Sirius shares components with the TL-2000 Sting low-wing model and offers a choice of flat-four engines. The prototype performed its first flight in May 2008, though the initial airframe was lost in a fatal accident shortly afterward. The design complies with both European ultralight rules and U.S. light-sport aircraft categories, with examples exported to customers across multiple continents.
