About the H101 "SALTO"

The Start & Flug H101 "SALTO" is a German aerobatic glider constructed from glass composite materials. Featuring a single-seat cabin and a distinct V-tail layout, it suits pilots seeking high-performance soaring and aerobatic flight maneuvers.

Developed by Ursula Hänle following the lineage of earlier V-tailed gliders, the prototype took to the air early in the decade. Production was handled by a German firm before later batches were completed by another local manufacturer, bringing the total output to a modest number of units available in both utility and aerobatic configurations.
