About the Pzl-101 Gawron
The PZL-101 Gawron is a Polish agricultural and utility fixed-wing aircraft designed for a single crew member. Built with a single engine and a high-wing layout, it suits agricultural dusting and spraying operations as well as air ambulance and training roles.
Developed by WSK-Okęcie as a modification of a previously manufactured foreign design, the aircraft featured a chemical container behind the crew and revised wings. The prototype first flew in April, and production eventually resulted in hundreds of units used across civilian aviation both domestically and internationally. Over time, many were exported, and the type later transitioned to experimental aircraft status.
