About the 31 Senior Skyrocket
The Bellanca 31 Senior Skyrocket is a single-engine, high-wing braced monoplane utility aircraft built in the United States. Designed to accommodate multiple seats in a cabin layout, it suits utility transport roles and traces its lineage back to earlier Wright-Bellanca designs.
Following its pre-war development, a single example was acquired by the United States Navy for transport duties, while post-war production under license was undertaken in Canada. A small number of surviving examples have been preserved in museum collections in North America.
