About the Cavalon

The Autogyro Cavalon is a German gyrocopter featuring a single main rotor and an enclosed cabin with a side-by-side seating layout for two people. Propelled by a single rear-mounted engine driving a pusher propeller, it relies on a composite teardrop-shaped fuselage and tricycle landing gear equipped with wheel pants. Vibration dampers are integrated into the structure to minimize rotor feedback reaching the cockpit.

Developed by AutoGyro GmbH, the aircraft originated as a side-by-side evolution of a tandem-seating model produced by the same company. It is delivered ready to fly and has seen diverse service, including operation by government security forces in Turkey and registration by hobbyists in the United States. An electric variant was later created from the baseline platform.
