Detailed Description

N2803D, privately loaned airplane was previously on display as part of the rotating collection at the Bird Aviation Museum & Invention Center.

Remarks

Privately loaned airplane was previously on display as part of the rotating collection at the Bird Aviation Museum & Invention Center.

Dr. Forest Bird and his certified FAA repair station maintained this aircraft for many years. The aircraft was professionally restored between 1988 and 1990 and has been preserved in beautiful condition.

N2803D has been sitting since 2006, but remains in remarkably beautiful shape. The aircraft is equipped with an enclosed canopy installed under an STC.

This is a unique opportunity to acquire an aircraft with a significant connection to aviation history and the legacy of Dr. Forest Bird.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Bird Aviation and Invention Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, helping support the museum and keep its doors open for future generations.
