GARMIN CONNEXT SATELLITE - IRIDIUM (GSR 56)

(Fully Integrated weather, satellite phone and text messaging through Iridium Communications. Available communication services include request/response-based Garmin Connext Worldwide Weather with graphical and text weather services (where available), sending and receiving of in-flight text messages and voice calls, and aircraft position reporting.)

(Position sensors on the aircraft integrate with a high resolution terrain database to present synthetic terrain imagery on the Primary Flight Display. Flight information is overlaid to provide greater situational awareness.)

(GTS800 Traffic Awareness System. A 360" zone of detection identifies other nearby transponder-equipped aircraft and vocalizes for specific traffic-spotting information. Uses Garmin's exclusive CLEAR CAS technology with up to 12 miles of active surveillance.)
