Description

The last staggerwing

BEECHCRAFT G17S — SERIAL NUMBER B-20

The 20th and Final G-Model Staggerwing Produced • Walter Beech Company Aircraft • Oshkosh Grand Champion

A truly exceptional opportunity to acquire the last G-model Staggerwing ever produced.

Serial Number B-20 holds a unique place in Beechcraft history as the 20th and final G-model Staggerwing manufactured, marking the conclusion of one of the most celebrated aircraft designs of aviation’s Golden Age.

Following its completion, B-20 was retained by Beechcraft for a period and used as a company aircraft by Walter Beech, adding extraordinary factory provenance to an already historically significant airframe.

Between 1998 and 2002, B-20 underwent an exhaustive 100-point restoration by Blue Max Aviation in San Diego, California. The quality and authenticity of the restoration were recognized immediately upon completion.

As the final example of the ultimate Staggerwing variant, with direct Walter Beech association and an Oshkosh Grand Champion restoration, B-20 represents a remarkable combination of historical importance, provenance, rarity, and restoration quality.

This is not simply another Staggerwing. It is the Last Staggerwing.
