Detailed Description

1965 Cessna 172F - 195 HP Stoots IO-370, 21 hours since all upgrades, including avionics, power plant and airframe. G3X Touch, GFC 500, GNX 375 - Alaska-Ready

Built for the backcountry, equipped for IFR. This 1965 Cessna 172F has just completed a top-to-bottom transformation, finished July 2026. It pairs a 195 hp Continental IO-370 with a new Hartzell constant-speed prop and a full Garmin glass panel with autopilot. The added power, the stronger Airglas nose fork, and WAAS IFR capability make it a strong fit for Alaska flying or anywhere you want to fly.

Remarks

Looking for a 172 that can handle Alaska and beyond? N5444R just finished a full transformation in July 2026.

Stoots Aviation Continental IO-370, 195 hp, 21 hours SMOH, with a new Hartzell constant-speed prop (21 hours). That's about 50 more horsepower than stock for shorter takeoffs, better climb, and more useful performance with a load on board.

IFR-ready for Alaska weather or anywhere you fly.

Garmin G3X Touch, GFC 500 autopilot, GNX 375 WAAS GPS with ADS-B In/Out, G5 backup, GNC 255A Nav/Com, and GMA 35 audio panel.
