Description

I am selling my well-maintained Cessna F-172D.

The aircraft is in good condition for its age, and the seats are in very good condition. Which stood exclusively in the hangar

I flew it just once after the last ARC (Airworthiness Review Certificate) was issued on July 14, 2025; consequently, the Cessna has been sitting unused in the hangar for a year. The battery was replaced during the ARC and is connected to a trickle charger.

The engine requires inspection due to the long period of inactivity, and the ARC needs to be renewed. It would certainly be advisable to have the engine overhauled to ensure continued enjoyment of the Cessna for years to come.

Remarks

Viewings are welcome, provided there is a genuine interest in purchasing.

The O-300 is a well-known six-cylinder, horizontally opposed, air-cooled aircraft engine, widely recognized for its smooth operation, reliability, and proven design.

Originally developed by Continental Motors, the O-300 series has been used in numerous light aircraft, most notably the Cessna 170 and early Cessna 172 models.

Direct-drive, naturally aspirated

Known for exceptionally smooth running due to its six-cylinder configuration

The Continental O-300 has an excellent reputation as a classic and dependable aircraft engine. Its simple mechanical design, good parts availability, and smooth operation make it particularly attractive for classic Cessna aircraft and restoration projects.
