Detailed Description
It has been a very dependable Aircraft for me over these 25+ years of ownership and it presents well on the ramp.
I am the 3rd owner of this Aircraft, which was delivered from the Cessna factory in 1977, and of the three, I have owned it the longest - - since May 2001.
I purchased it in Birmingham, Alabama. Up until then it was used by the previous owner, an Aircraft Dealer in Alabama, to ferry customers around who were shopping for airplanes located at other airports. Then, he was offered a deal from Cessna. They handed over to him 3 new Cessna Aircraft: a 206, a 182 , and a 172. Beyond that, I don't know what his arrangements were with Cessna, but, he no longer needed the Aircraft that I am advertising for sale today. So it was then and there, that I bought it @ Birmingham International Airport. "Jet South" did the Pre-Buy Inspection on it. (In September of 2000, a Factory Reman Continental Engine was installed). When I bought it in May, 2001, it had 112 hours on it and was under warranty. As of today, the engine is 50 hours short of TBO time (2,000 Hours), And it remains in its usual good strong operating condition.
