• If you have read this far, I’ll tell you the short story of this Tiger. I purchased it after I soloed, and received my PPL in it. I have put over 250 hours on it and landed at many new airports over the last few years. Each year I have owned it, all annuals and maintenance have taken place with my supervision and involvement. Anything that has needed to be replaced or fixed, has been done 100%. It had an extensive annual before my ownership by the famous FletchAir in Texas, and has a clean bill of health. I recently have had the opportunity to see some other Tigers and a Cheetah. I didn’t realize that this is the nicest, cleanest and most well laid out Tiger I’ve seen. It’s amazing in every way, except the hail damage. It flys straight, trims out very cleanly, and the new engine is turbine smooth. Redman Aviation in Tulsa did the overhaul work, and their warranty is the very best…36 months and unlimited hours. They sent the heads and cylinders to Ly-Con in California and had their famous port and polish job done, which unofficially makes it 200hp. You can really feel it! It trues out at 135+ knots TAS at 8500’ and outfly’s every 172/182 (in this class) I’ve been in! The low wing practically lands itself and it handles like a sports car, instead of a bus. I’ve spent several hours in the soup in this plane during Instrument training, and it’s easy to hand fly in the clouds. It has a fresh annual, and I have no problems allowing a pre-buy for the one who wants to fly it home. I have a CFI locally that can check you out in it. It’s ready to go right now. I’m not a broker.
