Detailed Description
20 Dec 2001, Show Low, AZ. Solo student hard landing in a gust. Left wing contacted the runway, nose gear sheared, propeller damaged. No injuries. NTSB LAX02LA057. Repaired. The 5 Apr 2003 airframe entry records the repair, including a left outboard forward wing-skin repair, and says see 337 that date. Engine opened 15 Apr 2003, tach 1595.29 and 816.5 since overhaul, and reassembled on a yellow-ta
pitot-static, altimeter, and transponder checks overdue since 28 Jan 2020. Not IFR. Recertify transponder before use. Deferred or monitor: corrosion beyond the replaced seat rail, crankcase weep, cylinder oil weep, high idle, one instrument light. Nose strut serviced, watch for leaks. Oil-cooler lines secured, not replaced; check movement at next oil change.

Both windshields, ACK E-04 406 ELT (battery to June 2031), battery, all four engine mounts, oil and fuel hoses except oil-cooler lines, brake hoses and reseal, co-pilot outboard seat rail, oil-fill tube, nose-gear axle, filters, left wing bottom skin doubler per Piper SRM, prop nicks dressed and faces painted, track good.
Six-pack, two King KX 170B, Stratus ADS-B In/Out, Davtron. 25 gal/side. Wheel pants. Front seats reupholstered 2017; remaining interior original gray vinyl. Older cream and blue paint.
