Airframe

1977 Beechcraft C23 Sundowner with approximately 2,950 hours total time. The aircraft has been maintained and flown fairly regularly and has a good history of ownership and maintenance. Airframe has no known major damage history. Annual inspection is currently due in October 2026.

Offered for sale because the owner is looking for other flight opportunities such as a fractional ownership.

Engine

Approximately 930 hours since major overhaul. Engine has been maintained in accordance with recommended maintenance practices and has performed reliably during current ownership. Equipped with an EDM 700 engine monitor

Avionics

Well equipped IFR avionics package including Garmin GNS 355 GPS/Comm, Garmin GNS 430W GPS/Nav/Comm, Garmin GMA 345 audio panel, dual Garmin G5 electronic flight instruments, S-TEC 55X autopilot, and EDM 700 engine monitor. The combination provides modern electronic flight instrumentation, GPS navigation, and a capable two-axis autopilot.

The aircraft is not currently certified for IFR operations. The required 14 CFR §91.411 and §91.413 inspections are not up to date... however, there are no known equipment or system limitations preventing the aircraft from being returned to IFR certification

Interior

The Sundowner has a particularly roomy and comfortable cabin for a four-seat aircraft, with excellent space for both pilots and passengers. The two-door configuration provides convenient access to the cabin from either side. Interior shows its age, with wear consistent with a 1977 aircraft.

Exterior paint is faded and has areas of chipping and cosmetic wear. The aircraft is best described as mechanically sound with well-equipped avionics rather than cosmetically restored.
