1963 Beechcraft debonair (B33)

Project / Motivated Seller currently unflyable in Salem, OR (KSLE). Classic Debonair with a great airframe looking for a new steward. This is an honest project — the Continental IO-470-K needs overhaul or replacement, and the price reflects it. Everything else is solid. The good: Fresh annual Airframe in excellent condition for its age — no corrosion issues, all ADs current. Classic Beech build quality throughout. The engine: The mechanic found compressions lower than Continental's specification on two of the cylinders. The compression on the other four cylinders was marginal. The mechanic broke off the exhaust studs in the two cylinder heads while removing the exhaust to inspect things further, rendering the plane unflyable. A top overhaul may be possible, however the engine is over 30 years old and has over 2000 hours. Engine issue is priced into the ask.
