  • If you're looking for the useful load, range, engine, and upgraded avionics that a C172 provides for less than half the price tag, then this plane is for you! I'm selling my 1/2 share of N4078X. It's a 1970 Aero Commander 100-180 Lark tied down on the EAA ramp at LZU. Burns somewhere between 6-9 GPH depending on what RPM you set. Useful load 769 lbs. 40 gal usable fuel. About 1000 hours SMOH on a 2000 hour 180HP Lycoming O-360 and my co-owner and I have flown about 600 of those hours since October 2025. It's IFR Certified and current with two GI-275s as PFD and HSI, a G650xi with active Garmin subscription and capable of LPV, ILS, and pretty much any other approach you can think of. The other owner is a CFI-I.
