Description

1951 Cessna 190/195 Conversion | N1080D | MSN7692

Rarely does a Cessna 195-series aircraft come to market in this condition of completeness and airworthiness. N1080D is a meticulously maintained 190/195 conversion representing one of the finest examples of the radial-engine Cessna heritage available today.

Powered by a Jacobs R-755B2 with 980.1 hours SMOH against a 1,200-hour TBO recommendation, the engine retains 219.9 hours of remaining service life and has been thoughtfully upgraded with electronic ignition, a Butterfly ignition coil, Jasco alternator, Brackett air filter, and a Moen spin-on oil filter, all meaningful improvements over stock that reduce maintenance burden and improve reliability. The Hamilton Standard 2B20 propeller shows 1,144.1 hours SMOH.

Structurally, the airframe carries no damage history. The wing spar was replaced in 2005, and a new aft bulkhead has since been installed, two of the most consequential structural items on any 195 addressed and resolved. Heavy landing gear and Butterfly axles round out a solid gear package, complemented by Cleaveland wheels and brakes.

The 2006 paint and interior are both presented at 8/10, with the period-correct "Businessliner" cabin trim lending appropriate character to the aircraft's vintage. BAS shoulder harnesses, tail pull handles, and rudder trim reflect a practical and safety-conscious ownership history. Avionics include dual BendixKing Nav/Comms (KX170 with spare, KX155), a BendixKing G1X335, and an Apollo 360 VFR GPS.

Annual inspection completed November 2025. Under exclusive listing agreement with Hyde Aviation LLC.
