Detailed Description
Average condition, solid, flies and trims well, she's been to NY, TN, AZ and once to Cuba in her history, Always IA maintained since I've had her the last several years. Includes sunbaked cabin cover. Hand tow bar. Paper Logs and STC's, with all FAA docs/reports on CD.
She's just a hobby plane, original panel gauges, 1990's radio stack, tied down outside in AZ sun so everything is sunbaked. Paint and interior fabrics sunbaked, one wing paint is rough due to a leaking fuel cap (gasket repaired), seat coverings starting to degrade, com1 radio is a little sketch on transmission intermittently, I believe it to be the panel TX switch, etc. Panel vanity plastic long g
Detailed Description
Hey all. Well, I think its time to look into a high-wing for the desert. The Good: PA-28/140 with 160hp STC, Prop tip mod STC, lighted/tapered wingtip mod STC (knots2u), Mitchell Products engine gauges and fuel senders with proper FAA 337 field upgrade approval, TailBeacon ADSB in/out, airframe hours approx. 3100 total, engine SMOH approx. 1300hrs, cyl. compressions 74-78, spin-on oil filter with quick drain, annual last month, IRAN about 5 years ago with new #3 cylinder, rebuilt mags, muffler replaced, new heat shrouds, engine flaps/seals, hoses, etc. useful load approx. 850lbs.
She's an average run-of-the-mill weekend warrior for a hobby pilot just wanting to grab the proverbial $100 burger around Arizona. I flew her from TN to AZ without a single glitch. She climbs like a bandit with the mods, even in the AZ heat/DA, cruise about 120. And yeah, the ad reads like I don't wanna sell it but hey, wouldn't you rather I just be straight up?
NOT taking offers at this time, price is firm.
I'm looking to change to a high-wing plane, will sell or work a trade on a high-wing 150hp.
Based at KHII.
