Detailed Description

1971 Lake LA-4-200 Buccaneer, S/N 495. Three-owner aircraft with logs since 1971. First two owners kept the airplane approximately 25 years each. Current owner is an A&P/master mechanic with long-term maintenance history on the aircraft.

Lycoming IO-360-A1B overhauled in 2021 by Alaska Aircraft Engines, 22.2 hours SMOH. Hartzell HC-C2YK-1BLF/FL7666A-2 prop installed 2021, 22.2 hours since installation. Annual due Sept. 2026.

Equipment includes Garmin GNC 250, COM 760, Narco AT-150 transponder, PS Engineering PM1000II intercom, JPI EDM-700 EGT/CHT, JP Instruments tachometer, EI FP-5 fuel flow, EI oil pressure/temperature, volts/amps, super clock, Whalen strobes, under-floor battery mod, bilge pump, and secondary cargo door mod.

Documented 2021 wing and sponson repair. Work included reskinning a wing section and replacement of a new sponson. Aircraft was hangared during repair period. Engine was preserved/pickled while out of service. Repair photos and complete maintenance records available.

Paint is in generally good condition. Long-term ownership, extensive records, fresh major mechanicals, and knowledgeable maintenance history make this a well-documented Lake.
