1917 Fokker DR-1 Triplane

(I am listing this for my father, as he is not Computer savvy and I will screen all serious inquiries for him, thank you.) This is a 7/8 scale reproduction kit. The original kit sold for $11,000 and is currently estimated three quarters of the way completed. Three of the wings are covered and the tail assembly is completely covered and painted. This project was brought to its present state by a professional aircraft restoration person holding an A&P Certificate and an IA Certificate. It has been assembled with the intention of using a continental O200 engine. Some other engines could be used as well depending on the owners choice. There is a overhauled Super 65 Continental available for purchase separately. There is currently no engine with the plane. Kit does not include propeller. This airplane is a 7/8 scale reproduction kit approximately three quarters of the way completed. This kit was made by Aerodrome Airplanes, and the fuselage is the 4130 steel fully welded version. Currently located near Clinton Missouri Original kit was $11,000 and I am asking 14,000 or best offer *This would make a Great gift for Dad or Grandpa!!!!! All serious offers will be considered.
