Airframe

Completely stripped to bare metal and repainted in March 2026, not sprayed over existing paint. Airframe stripped to bare metal, corrosion addressed and cleaned, and complete epoxy primer coverage applied before fuel tanks were reinstalled. Fuel tanks drained for the epoxy primer application. Aircraft was weighed after strip and paint, 500lbs useful load. All new exterior stainless screws were installed. Additional upgrades include a new Lexan windscreen and STC Scout windows on both doors. Wheel pants were stripped and paint matched to the airframe.The aircraft presents exceptionally well, with an exterior rated 9/10.

Engine

Continental O-200 engine with 998 hours SMOH. Electronic magneto installed in place of the right conventional magneto. McCauley propeller overhauled in 2017, with 232.1 hours since overhaul. Long range 19 gallon fuel tanks for 38 gallons total, 35 usable. With a 6-7gph fuel burn, this is a cross country machine along with a very reliable time builder/trainer.

With a 90-100 MPH cruise, this is an outstanding cross-country machine, reliable trainer, and time builder. A genuinely turnkey Cessna 150 that presents exceptionally well and is ready for its next owner.

Remarks

Very sad to see this plane go, it has genuinely everything someone would need to complete their training, as well as being a very reliable machine to cruise around the country in after you're done. The only reason I'm potentially selling is because my father and I are partners in this 150, and he wants a faster cruise aircraft for work travel. I have taken my wife all over in this plane and it has not let me down. With a 90-100mph cruise and enough room for bags, the 19 gallon tanks make cross country trips a breeze. I have no complaints about this plane, and as long as you keep up with it, it will be the absolute best looking 150 anywhere you go.
