Avionics

The KX165 is an older commercial King Sikver Crown with high transmit power. The KNS 80 RNAV is still an amazing tool for general navigation allowing you to put the VOR on top of your waypoint. Simple and effective. I miss this feature on my new Garmins. (It can be done but I haven't figured it out yet!).

ADSB by Uvionics would allow for dual Av30 digital horizon and HSI very cheaply.

Interior

Very thoroughly documented full interior and repair/replacemwnt of panels, leather seats, headliner etc.

  • According to the official FAA Civil Aviation Registry, tail number N735F is a valid registered 1960 Cessna 210, Serial Number 57005.A cross-reference check of the NTSB database reveals no reported accidents or structural incidents on file for this specific tail number or serial number.
  • Aircraft was actively flown from 1960 thru 1986. It was then placed in storage while waiting for a new engine. I purchased the aircraft in 2012. An overhauled engine and prop were purchased later.
  • Aircraft logbooks were lost for years 1960 thru 2012. Maintenance records are available from 1965 threwn1986
  • Aircraft was paint stripped and painted. A new instrument panel, electrical wiring, leather upholstery, and 4 side windows were installed.
  • Aircraft was refurbished in 2013. The paint is 9;9 and the upholstery is 10 plus.
  • The previous owner said the aircraft needed a new engine and he decided to store it.
  • The aircraft has always been hangared.
  • The aircraft looks like it was manufactured in 2013 instead of 1960. It even has the Cessna 2013 paint scheme.
  • N735F does not have any recorded accident or incident history in the NTSB or FAA databases. A cross-reference of the tail number against the FAA Civil Aviation Registry and historical safety logs indicates the following status for the aircraft: Aircraft Type: 1959 Cessna 210 Centurion Serial Number: 57005 Current Registration Status: Valid (Active)Safety Record: Clean. There are zero accident synopses, preliminary entries, or major incident filings associated with this specific tail number or airframe serial number in federal safety tracking systems. Keep in mind that very minor hanger rash incidents or repairs that fell below the NTSB's "substantial damage" reporting threshold wouldn't generate a federal accident report.
  • Aircraft may be seen at Ruidoso NM or Santa Fe NM
  • Santa Fe has numerous commercial flights daily and is a good place to look at a plane while your wife shops. Or vice versa!
  • Vref appraisal rules adjust price for missing logs but in these circumstances with a decade and a half of legal annuals by a reputable shop, zero time engine and prop, full cosmetic refurbishment: this is a realistic price point in today's tricky environment.
  • Please come see the plane before making "on the phone" offers. This plane shows as a 2013 Cessna in many ways. Ad an IFly or IPad with fireflight and you're good to go.
