Description
For sale is an ASW-28 (28GG) standard class type certified glider with just 1773 hours of flight time. This ASW-28 is in very clean and well-cared-for condition with no history of damage. She is ready to fly with the annual good through May of 2027. The canopy has no cracks and has a light blue tint. The panel contains: Winter airspeed, Winter altimeter, Compass, TRIG transponder with ADS-B out, LXNav SXHawk Variometer, Dittel radio, and a Clearnav CN-I map with a Cambridge 302 Vario. A Powerflarm Fusion, Nixon/Murray cockpit exhaust vent, and an O2 tank are also installed. Included is a Mountain High EDS D1 oxygen system, a large wrap-around canopy cover, and a reflective sun canopy cap. Three K2 12V (LiFePO4) batteries and two chargers are included with the glider.
Included is an aluminum 2002 Cobra trailer with vents and a solar panel to power the ballast tank dryer. The lift struts were replaced in July 2025, and the tires have low miles on them. Also included is a tail dolly with a tow-out bar, Cobra wing rigger, and Cobra wing wheel, as well as two wing stands. This is a clean, well-equipped ASW-28 with a desirable combination of low flight time, excellent care, modern avionics, and a complete trailer and ground-handling setup. Ready for its next owner to enjoy the soaring season! The glider is based at Caesar Creek, near Waynesville, Ohio.
