Description

If the ad is up, it IS AVAILABLE!

Selling my 2010 Zenith CH 701 experimental amateur-built aircraft. Located in Concord Buchanan Field airport (KCCR)

$32,000

452 hours total time on both the airframe and engine. I still fly it regularly, so the hours may increase slightly. Complete airframe and engine logbooks since new. Digital copies are available upon request.

It has a Viking 110-horsepower engine in it.

3-blade ground adjustable Warp Drive prop

Dynon D180 EFIS/EMS

King KY 97A com radio

King KT75A transponder

uAvionix tailbeacon ADS-B out

Electric trim

Autopilot

Equipped with a BRS parachute, but it’s due for a repack.

The bubble doors provide plenty of shoulder room, and the cabin comfortably fits two adults.

The airframe is primed with epoxy primer but has not been painted.

iPad and Stratus are not included!!

The plexiglas windshield has a few cracks but is structurally sound and can be safely flown as is. However, I would recommend replacing it.

The aircraft has a hard-landing accident in its history. The previous owner made an off-airport landing in a field near Napa and struck a ditch, damaging the nose gear, lower portion of the firewall, and several aluminum skins. There was no structural damage. All accident-related damage has been repaired, and the aircraft has undergone an extensive condition inspection. Beyond the repairs, both the airframe and engine have been thoroughly gone through with IRAN. All applicable service bulletins have been checked and complied with.

I also decided to remove the leading-edge slats and install VGs instead. This major modification was reported to the FSDO, and the required 5-hour flight-testing period has been completed.

It cruises at about 80mph at 4600-4800rpm and burning 5-6gph

Fuel capacity - 20gal + 2gal header tank

Empty weight - 750lbs

Useful load - 500lbs

The aircraft has a current condition inspection and is ready to fly.

Selling because I have another STOL plane project, and I’d rather put the funds from this sale toward restoring that one. Plus, everything barely fits in my hangar. However, I might still consider trades for something flying because I’m an airplane junkie. Let me know what you’ve got! 🙂
