The same engineers that designed the Lancair composite panel process and original kits, designed and built the all composite KIS TR-4 Cruiser kit as a less fancy, cheaper option plane. The KIS TR-4 is similar in looks and flight as the Lancair ES and Cirrus SR20 (OK. Not quite as fast or big). Four place, 1100 lbs. useful load. 46 knot stall speed (qualifies as Sport). The aircraft was completed in 2008 with only 580 TTAF. Upgraded Lycoming O-360 engine with extra HP installed in 2023 with only 277 hours TSOH. Rebuilt by Pinnacle Aircraft Engines. Dual E-Mags. Hangered since new. 135 knot TAS cruise at 9.0 gph, 50 gal. tanks. Full IFR Glass panel, GRT Sport HS EFIS, GRT EIS4000 engine monitor. Garmin WAAS ADS-B GNX-375 GPS, Mode S transponder (ADS-B in and out). Garmin SL-30, SL-40 Comm Nav. Trio ProPilot AP with fully coupled GPSS. LED landing lights. Good paint and interior.
