The aircraft is currently in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was originally purchased in Russia, where a dedicated enthusiast restored it to airworthy condition before selling it to my father due to an urgent need for cash. My father brought the plane to Kazakhstan; after he passed away two years ago, I inherited it. I don't know much about the aircraft, other than the fact that it is in poor condition, and it saddens me to watch it simply rot away in my garage. There are very few of these planes left in the world, yet—unfortunately—there are also very few people looking for them. Pilots in Kazakhstan and Russia aren't interested in it, even at a price of $50,000, and I don't want to sell it for peanuts. I decided to look into the international market and found your site. I have photos of the aircraft; it is missing its canopy and propeller, though the engine is present. It needs the tail section re-covered, the engine reinstalled, and final assembly; once that’s done, it could be flown and sold for a much higher price. Since there is no local interest in Russia or Kazakhstan, please help me sell it—I am asking $45,000–$50,000.
