Airframe

S/N 428 Condition Inspection complete 8/19/26. 40 gallons main tank. 10 gallon header tank. Basic empty weight 1182#. Max gross weigh 2100#. (2) sets on main wheel pants, one set never installed. Both short and long wingtips (short installed). Both short and tall rudder (NIB), short rudder installed. Spare spinner and backplate. Small spares cache. Complete original builders' logs. Glasair 1FT (SH2) located at KAPA (Centennial, CO - Denver metro area)

Engine

Lyc O-320-E2C 1023 SMOH, Hartzell C/S and Governor 22 SMOH. Dual Electronic Magnetos. New propeller control/cable and new throttle cable, both vernier style.

Avionics

ADSB in/out UAT. GRT EFIS Sport EX and Mini-X. Garmin GNC420, King KT76C, SL15 stereo intercom/audio panel. Trio Avionics two axis autopilot (course and altitude hold). GRT EIS4000 engine monitoring. All new main and avionics bus with new CBs and switches. LED position lights. Wingtip strobes.

Interior

Grey leather seats on Oregon Aero memory foam (new 2024). Gas shocks for gullwing doors replaced. All glass in very good condition.

Remarks

This is the original builder's 2nd Glasair. His first was a 1RG. This is an exceptionally well built Glasair 1FT. We spent 3 years going through every single inch of this airframe and it is in outstanding condition. Nothing has been spared for maintenance. There are no open airworthiness issues of any kind, and no damage history. Both mags were overhauled at this years' condition inspection and all spark plugs replaced - as preventative maintenance. I believe I am the 5th owner overall. Our private flying requires more than two seats now, so sadly 428DM needs a new home. I had no issues getting reasonable insurance through Acrisure (broker, not underwriter) as a member of the EAA and AOPA. I am still flying the Glasair, so times will continue to increase.
