About the M-16

The Magni Gyro M-16 is an Italian sport rotorcraft designed for recreation and training, featuring an open tandem-seat layout and a pusher engine arrangement. Built with a slender tail boom and a composite rotor system mounted above a central pod, it utilizes a tricycle undercarriage and provides dual controls for both occupants.

Developed and manufactured in Besnate, the machine shares its basic configuration with related touring variants that include enclosed baggage compartments. Beyond recreational flying, operators have employed these rotorcraft for agricultural spraying, nature reserve surveys, traffic observation, and fire prevention. The type has also achieved notable endurance milestones through long-distance and global circumnavigation flights.
