About the CT2K
The Flight Design CT2K is an ultralight fixed-wing aircraft featuring two seats and a single engine. Built entirely from carbon fibre reinforced composite, the agile machine was developed to meet regulations allowing operation under ultralight or microlight rules alongside normal registration requirements, offering high cruising speed and long range.
Initially known under a different designation, the type was manufactured by a German company and later supplied via licensing agreements to various international markets, including through assembly and distribution in the United States and marketing across the Asia Pacific region. A related model also undertook notable long-distance global touring flights.
