About the F-14 Nibbio
The Aviamilano F-14 Nibbio is an Italian single-engine cabin monoplane configured with four seats arranged across two rows. Suited for private pilots and passengers, this fixed-wing aircraft features a cantilever low-wing layout with a wooden structure primarily skinned in plywood and fabric.
Crafted by Stelio Frati as a larger evolution of his earlier two-seat design, the prototype achieved its maiden flight in January 1958. Following this introduction, the manufacturer completed a very limited production run, resulting in only a small handful of airframes remaining on European civil registries decades later.
